Introduction:

Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 is a synthetic peptide composed of four amino acids. It is used in beauty products and cosmetics to inhibit the production of excessive cellular interleukins. This chemical messenger triggers the body's acute inflammatory response, which leads to damage to glycation, the process by which glucose and proteins cross-link and combine, causing tissue to harden. Negatively affects the skin's support systems such as collagen, elastin and other proteins, resulting in wrinkles, sagging and uneven skin tone

Mechanism:

Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 can delay and inhibit the production of excessive cellular interleukin, thereby inhibiting some unnecessary and inappropriate inflammatory reactions and glycosylation damage. In in vitro experiments, the scientists found that "palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 induces a significant dose-dependent reduction in cellular interleukin production. The higher the dose of palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, the greater the reduction in cellular interleukin." —Up to 40%.” UV ultraviolet radiation is known to promote the production of interleukins in cells. When cells were exposed to UV radiation and then treated with PalmitoylTetrapeptide-7, an 86% reduction in cellular interleukins was seen.

application:

Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 is a key ingredient in Matrixyl3000 and is used in combination with Palmitoyl-Oligopeptide. Together they promote the growth of connective tissue and increase collagen production in the skin; when collagen is increased, the skin can heal and regenerate itself.
